– Please introduce your company!
– U-SHIN Europe Ltd. is a hundred percent Japanese owned company, which was founded in year 2000 by U-SHIN Ltd. Japan. The mother company also has subsidies in the USA, in India, Malaysia, Thailand and China. U-SHIN Europe is producing complete ignition switches for vehicles, key-sets, latches, different switches and the connecting units to these items.
– We are aware of the high level of the Japanese technology. What kind of technologies are used in your company? What kind of Qualifications are needed to these technologies?
– Our company set up as a basic principle to produce efficiently in perfect quality and of course with low costs. To keep the high level effieciency at the die casting and at injection molding we use robots to remove the parts from tools. These production facilities are fully automatizied no human assistance is required. At stamping we use progression toolings so produced parts can directly shipped for surface treatment. Our finished products are checked in 100% with automatic checking equipment in order to ensure the high quality standards of our customers. The machines from Japan, used to the technologies mentioned above, represent the highest technology available. To operate and maintain these technologies, the company needs qualified employees.
– Are you satisfied with the qualification of the Hungarian employees? Are the training done in Hungary or somewhere else?
– According to our experiences the Hungarian workers are highly qualified, posses the adequate knowledge to fulfill our tasks. Special trainings are carried out in Hungary, or in some special cases in Japan.
– What does quality and environmental protection means for the company?
– The company obtained the certificates required by the automotive industry, i.e. ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949. As you know, without these certificates it is impossible to become a supplier of an automotive company. As a result of our high quality products, we are supplier for all products of Magyar Suzuki Corporation. We also deliver to Opel, Ford, Mazda, Land Rover, NedCar, Pininfarina, VW, Audi and Skoda automotive companies. Our company, according to the international declarations and principals, acknowledged the importance of environmental protection. These principals are equally important for the present and for the future generation. This is why the company purposed the economical and sparing usage of the resources. This target is an evidence for the workers and also the suppliers of our company. We are maintaining an environmental management system, and targeted the continuous improvement of this system.
– How do you evaluate the connection between the company and the municipality of Kisbér?
– Since the foundation of our company we have a correct and steady connection with the municipality of the town. The best proof is, that we have doubled our product area. Presently we are the largest company of the town, employing 318 workers.
