Government launches HUF 25 billion loan program for suppliers
The government has launched a loan program with HUF 25 billion (USD 128 million) in available funds, aimed at helping investments at Hungarian supplier firms, the economy ministry announced. The program is part of the HUF 410 billion "For a Successful Hungary" loan program accepted by the government two weeks ago.
Concentration in retail continues – 2,250 outlets close in past three years
Concentration in the Hungarian retail market is continuing with 2,250 small outlets closing in the last three years and the number of hypermarkets increasing from 45 to 77 over the same period, according to a survey by market research firm AC Nielsen.
