Hungarian EcoMin Koka calls for cross-party commitment to economic stability to calm markets

Hungarian Minister of Transport and Economic Affairs Janos Koka Tuesday called on the leaders of Hungary's four parliamentary parties to declare their unconditional commitment to economic stability in the wake of significant weakening of Hungarian capital and money markets, which over recent days have seen the forint lose some 4% of its value, rising bond yields, and wide swings on the stock exchange.
