BAA sets sights on Ferihegy international airport
British Airports Authority (BAA) has expressed interest in acquiring a stake in Budapest Airport (BA), the company which operates Hungary's Ferihegy international airport. BA is due to be partially privatized later this year.

Monetary Council cuts base rate by 25 bp to 7.50%, as expected

Retail sales growth slows to 2.4% in February
Retail sales in Hungary were up 2.4% year-on-year on a seasonally adjusted basis in February 2005 compared to the same month of 2004, according to figures released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH). This compares to adjusted growth of 3.2% in January and 2.2% in December.
