PC penetration varied significantly based on the size of companies, with all large companies having at least one computer, while 17% of microenterprises, employing between 5–9 persons, did not have a personal computer.
Internet penetration among companies was 75% in March, up two points compared to October 2004. While nearly all medium-sized and large companies were connected to the Internet, just two-thirds of microenterprises were wired in March.
GKI's e-economy index, showing the attitudes and expectations of firms regarding the Internet and e-applications, showed stagnation in Q1, dropping from four to three points compared to the previous quarter.
