Construction output in Hungary was up 37% year on year in September 2005, according to both unadjusted and working day adjusted figures released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) Monday. This brings growth in the first nine months of the year to 17.4%.
Number of Internet banking clients rises 53% in Q2
In the second quarter of 2005, some 604,000 individuals and 96,000 businesses used Internet banking services in Hungary, growing a respective 53% and 58% since Q2 2004, according to a survey by research institute GKI in cooperation with T-Mobile and Sun Microsystems.

Economic research institute Ecostat, an offshoot of Hungary's Central Statistical Office (KSH), estimates that Hungary's GDP grew by 4.6% in the third quarter of 2005, according to its flash GDP estimate published on Monday.
