Finance ministry expects HUF 93.1 bln budget deficit in September

Companies operating in Hungary were liable for a total corporate tax bill of HUF 337.6 bln (USD 1.7 bln) in the 2004 tax year, down 1.5% compared to 2003, according to consolidated figures released by Hungarian tax authority APEH.

Retail network expands 0.4% y-o-y in H1 2005 - fluctuation remains high
There was a 0.4% increase in the number of retail units in Hungary during the first half of 2005 compared to the same period of last year, according to data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) Monday. The increase over Q1 this year was just 0.1%.
