The factory started production in June, four months earlier than the previously planned October date, with an annual production capacity of 50 MW, to be further increased to 100 MW. This refers to the total capacity of the manufactured batteries.
The plant employs 152 people, which is expected to reach 300–400 with the increase in capacity. The total value of the investment will reach HUF 6.3 billion (USD 31 million) by 2006.
